Phone wont turn off.

My phone wont stay off, i turn it off but it reboots automatically, also the car mode keeps activating randomly/randomly thinks it is charging and connected to a pc.

I updated it to the latest firmware via kies as well, no help.

Edit: Phone is not rooted and alarm clock plus is also another app that randomly starts.

First. Did you do a factory reset after you flashed. If not this may help but you'll lose all your data.

Hi, did this work, as my S2 just started doing this at 5am this morning randomly?

I do agree with Doomed. If you have flashed you SGS2 then you need to restart in factory mode but before opt factory mode option save your ALL data on sd card and remove sd card from phone.

sorry if im being a bit thick here but where do you go on p[hone to save all data to sd card?

For apps only --> Task manager --> Download --> Click on apps (Don't click on Uninstall) --> Move to SD card
For pictures, songs, videos etc save in a folder then MOVE them to sd card

Thanks shuk now my phone goes to car settings and whenever i call or am called its attomaticly goes to speaker phone ..ive looked at settings and turned off all speach activated things ?? Anything else i can try?

Factory reset was a bust. It's still doing the same as before. And I am getting car mode randomly too.
