    Ap mobile issue on startup

I guess I've had my Galaxy S II a month or two now, and there's an issue that has been present since very early in its life.

When I start the phone up, I get a message every time:

    Sorry!

The application Ap Mobile (process com.sec.android.widgetapp.apnews) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

    [Force close]
All that I can think of that may have caused this is that I dragged the big news thing that was taking up half a screen to the trash, because I don't want it.

What can I do to resolve the issue?

Well, I am currently facing the same problem... at 1st things was very normal & the widget was working just fine... Then suddenly, I faced the same message above! Can anyone help please? Do I have to uninstall it to remove this annoying start-up message? I find it a useful app.. & by the way, you can resize the widget to several smaller ones when you long press it & resize..

I don't think I can help you, but I wanted to make it clear that moving something to trash on the homescreen only removes the shortcut. The app or widget is still there in your app drawer ready to be displayed again if you want. To actually remove an app or widget you have to uninstall it.

If it was something you'd downloaded, I'd say uninstall and reinstall, but AP mobile comes preinstalled on the phone, and you don't have an option to uninstall unless you've rooted your phone. These problems are usually a result of a software clash, ie it's imcompatible with your ROM or another app you've downloaded. First thing to try would be to go to Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Running Services, choose the All tab, select Ap Mobile, then press the Clear Data button.
