Mobile Network Not Available - Please Help :(

Ok every time I try and call of my phone it says. I have tried reinstalling the frimware and all that did was lose my apps. Tried doing a different firmware and tried rooting all the same results. The phone is definitely unlocked and unblocked as while I was searching google I came across one of those secret codes to show the status of the locks and all 4 of the categories were unlocked. I have tried a batterry pull and tried cleaning the Sim card. Also just in case this helps when I g into Settings>Call>Additional Settings it says 'Network Or Sim card error'. However the Sim card is perfectly fine.....so anyone have any advice? I have taken a few screenshots just in case they help.

    Edit:

I got the same message when I unticked then re-ticked call waiting. The SGS automatically detected my settings.

Did you flash new firmware? And if you did, did the phone work before flashing? Also, when flashing did you flash a CSC file?

Edit: What firmware did you flash? If you can type *#1234# and post the result.

Flashing is installing either a firmware or custom firmware.

Was the phone working before you flashed it or did you go strait a head and flash?

Did this sim card come with the phone?

Well first thing i did was a factory reset. then i installed this firmware that debranded the phone as it was t-mobile and im on orange. after that it was still working as far as i remember then later i just saw emergency call only on my phone and i thouht it was tempory so i left it but later it didnt go so i installed a few different firmwares to try yet nothing so then i installed the offcial firmwae yet it still isnt working.

I used this to debrand it.

edit: Ok could it be because the PDA CSC and phone are different?
Edit 2: Ok Ive done a bit more reasearch and it could be the CSC. Any advice would be appreciated

I don't have an S2 so am not familiar with it's firmware, but am sure flashing new firmware will solve the problem. This is where I depart.

I take it you carried out this step from the guide?

STEP 8- One last final step is to change your CSC code by typing this code in the phone dialer *#272*<your IMEI># (the code will be listed at the top of the screen. If you're coming from O2 PAYG handset it should say O2U. Now Enter recovery (volume up, home, power keys together) and do a factory reset and choose reboot phone Check your CSC code again Hopefully it will now say XEU
