Thumbs up Galaxy S 720p video samples with original 3gp video download.

Here are some sample videos I took while walking around town today in 720p. I've uploaded them to YouTube so you get an idea. Give me some time to upload more samples and the original video file.

These files are big and my upload speeds aren't too good.

Coming from my i8910, yes the audio is great and its 29.xx fps. So all good. just check the original for proof of this. The YouTube quality seems to kill it off a bit.

Fps seems quite smooth. However it would be even better if it was a .mp4 one. Compared to Evo's (3gp too but a joke), this one is much better.

Sound is OK, but when will samsung include a stereo mic to their HD-capable phones? 16khz mono sound isn't quite enough. From the iphone4 sample, when i check the file properties via MPC, it shows that sound is stereo.

Thanks for the samples. Big improvement on the elusive 24fps on i8910. The pic quality looks more than adequate. Hopefully getting my Galaxy S soon.

No. Maybe it's not, at least with android. I have never seen an android phone records vids in .mp4 file. Maybe in the future google/manufacturers will work on this.

    Question Video editor !!!

    Hey guys

I just wonder if someone else have mentioned that there're missing image and video editors programs on the phone. I saw a review of Galaxy S yesterday on GSMArena website, and in the part "Applications, ..." you can see he's describing 'image and video editors' (also an icons of the programs you can see on screenshots from main Menu).

    http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i900...view-478p8.php

Guys anyone got these pre-installed??? Because I don't and it's quite dissapointing that e.g. old Omnia II had built-in video editor and the latest model doesn't.

I know I can trip and edit it faster on my PC, but sometimes you just want to play with it
