    This thread cheered me up no end after an op + an infection...

    Blaming the phone for what is evidently a PC issue is understandable but the arrogance and rudeness displayed is not - the problem was ultimately very solvable (I'd have chucked VLC Media Player on the PC) but the OP didn't deserve any help. I'd have suggested simply transferring the files via Windows Explorer (i.e. from the phone's removable media) and bypassing Kies altogether.

    The OP deserves Vista as a bed fellow as it'll keep them bubbling away nicely. They obviously know everything already so bought said PC after extensive research - everyone else on the planet just doesn't understand Vista but the OP does.

    Hope their new phone has a dictionary with words like tact, humility, grace and diplomacy included therein...
