Help!!!

Need some help from the experts on here please.
Im currently on lightning1.5 but noticed an update last night on XDA forum for KF3 firmware.
However i connected to kies and low and behold it wouldn't update, it says no version of this device can be updated??.
SO, i then went to the XDA site and downloaded the file from there then opened up odin after putting phone in download mode and inserted file, clicked start and then it failed??
What am i doing wrong?????????

Am i now stuck with lightning for all eternity??????????????????////

wait for new ver of litening rom and then update it. (1.6)

you have to flash stock with odin after flashing a custom Rom but you should know this really if you're going to flash one. i don't see why you would flash kf3 i don't think its European and what's wrong with lightening 1.5. the flash method is exactly the same as flashing lightening so go over the steps carefully and it should work.

1.5 litening rom is really good, I am now on Noonski but I am going back to litening rom

KE3 is a firmware not a Rom i found it here last night http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1146436
It wouldn't let me update via kies though as per my first post.

Mark why do you seem to be having a go at me, this seems apparent in a few posts you have made.
I'm not a hacker or anything alike just a person trying to get the best out of my phone anyway i can even if that means trying different things and hopefully not screwing anything up (is that so wrong)

I don't mean to sound like I'm having a go, I just assume if you're going to put a custom firware on you should really know the effects it can have. Anyway kf3 is older than kf2 that litening rom is based on so I wouldn't bother.
