Expressions like 'A can of worms' and 'It will come back to bite you in the ass' couldn't ring more true for Apple at the moment. Since Apple have been on the warpath raising funds for their company, suing anyone and everyone from Swiss Train Stations to Polish Grocers, they have run in to trouble yet again.
Apple battled in a Mexican court with Mexican telecom iFone who Apple thought had nearly identical names. What Apple didn't expect, nor did their lawyers by the sounds of it, is that Mexican telecom iFone registered their name 4 years before Apple registered the iPhone name.
iFone are now counter-suing Apple for infringement and are claiming for 40% of iPhone sales in Mexico.
Vice President of Marketing for Apple, Phil Schiller, has also been ordered to appear in court over claims that Phil Schiller's latest testimony conflicts with the testimony given in at the trial to ban Samsung products.

I see they've also been ordered to reword the notice they were originally ordered to post stating Samsung had not copied them. They put up something that tried to explain away their 'punishment' but were slapped on the wrist and told to go away and do it again properly.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)
