    Really strange problem

    Hello all.

I have a rubber/silicone case on my phone, it does not touch the screen, only the back and sides.

My touchscreen works fine, BUT when I make a phone call the screen blacks out and the screen does not work/respond AT ALL, neither does the side buttons...heres the weird part, If I peel back just the top of the skin (off the top side of handset) the touchscreen works again!!!

    Any one got any ideas?!

I have the same type of cover on mine and have never had any issues.

Its probably covering the light sensor on the top of the phone. its about 8mm right of the front camera.

Probably it's the proximity sensor which turn off your LCD while calling...check in Settings>calls you can disable it... havent tried yet anyway...
