    viewing full websites

    how do i view websites in full like i do on my pc and not as mobile websites. i am trying to view ebay site but i keep getting the mobile version. i have even tried to type in the full ebay site address (www.ebay.co.uk) in the address bar but it still defaults to the mobile version site. same with facebook. please help!

    There is something you could type into the address bar but I can't remember what, there maybe a thread in the help section.

    Or download Dolphin browser from the market I prefer the mini version

    about:useragent and choose desktop, unfortunately you have to do this after every reboot unless you're rooted then I think there's a workaround somewhere on xda. Also I believe the ebay app has recently been overhauled and has lots more features, might suit your needs?

    i tried the dolphin browser but i am still getting the mobile web view. is there a setting i need to change?

    Yep. Open dolphin, press menu, Toolbox, User Agent, then pick one (From Dolphin Mini)

    Thanks doomed, that worked a treat. Just wondering, is there a similar setting on the stock browser to make it view full websites only?

    thanks again! worked brilliantly. i will stick with the dolphin browser though, it is really good!
