In-car charger switches off Bluetooth hands-free

    Hi,
Just got my SGs2 last week and this is my first post
I paired it with the bluetooth hands-free in my car but when I hooked up my in-car charger the blue-tooth connection switched off.
    Any suggestions?
Given the poor battery life I need to charge it in the car and for safety reasons I need the hands-free.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Can't say I have that problem. My bluetooth connection works with or without the charger lead. However, like you I want to use my SGs2 with my (Nokia) bluetooth in car kit. Very strange things happen - if I receive a call everything works fine. However, if I initiate a call using the button on my in-car kit and vLingo, the audio I receive becomes horribly distorted and unusable. Audio at the other end seems to be fine. The same happens with my Sony bluetooth headset which also plays music fine.

Near as I can establish, the problem seems to be with vLingo. If I stop all running vLingo services and establish the call manually, everything works fine. I like vLingo as it seems to respond well to commands. However, because of this problem, I would like to uninstall it but it is a default app and is hard to remove.

This is a serious problem as it compromises the in-car usability. I have had the handset replaced once already and the second unit is exactly the same.

Am I the only one to have this happening?
