    1.Extract CF-Root-xxx-vX.X.zip
2.Open ODIN. (And close Kies, if you have it open. It is important to have ODIN open BEFORE connection the phone via USB!)
3.Select CF-Root-xxx-vX.X.tar in PDA (ODIN) (DO NOT CHECK REPARTITION)
4.Turn the phone into the download mode by pressing and holding VolumeDown+Home+Power.
5.Connect your phone with your computer and wait until the drivers are installed.
6.When the drivers are installed, click Start.
7.The phone will be flashed and once it’s finished, it will boot up. (Do NOT disconnect the usb-cable, remove the battery or otherwise interrupt this process!)
8.You have successfully flashed your phone.

First you will need to find your 2.3.3 version and apply the correct kernel for that.
It does not come with the lagfix as standard. You will have to install the "ext4" app which you can get from the main CF-Root I9000 thread over at XDA. Install that and you can apply the lagfix.

Or, you can as well flash your phone with a custom ROM. Darky's 10.2 RE would do just the same, with a lagfix-supported kernel.

    Hello Thetimo,

I Fashed DarkyRom 10.2 RE through Odin, all went sweet.

Phones booted up and alot of my APPS are still on the phone along with an old wallpaper, experiencing alot of False closes.
Treid to open the apps and they just false close on me.

Should I of done a factory reset prior to flashing? or should I try to fash again?

    Any help much appricaited,
    Thanks

If you wipe and repartition when using Odin, that will be enough. But if you can first get to the market, download DarkyROM app and tick everything but 'install ad-hoc driver'. Then reflash. The installation reads that app while working. After that you'll have a fresh phone.

Just try a factory reset. This should sort the problems out.

Or trust the Darkys user that just beat me
