My notification alert not working on samsung galaxy s. I have not change anything or download anything its just stoppped working and now it it just vibebrates I looked in menu/settings/sounds/ notifcation alert and my sound alert is selectced and the volume is on full but still just vibertes evertime i get a text any know why. The phone is uptodate and runing ginger bread it was alll workin one minute and now its not ?
Have you tried restarting the phone

Yes I even taken the battery out and put int back in. To resove the problem I download Handcent and now it appeers to be working ? well I getting my prefered sound when i get a text
