    No Signal Problem

here is what happened. I've reseted my SGS using >Menu>Settings>Privacy>Personal Data then clicked "Factory data reset" and it reseted of course, the problem is it doesn't get a signal from my provider, i've tried other working sim cards but does not have any signal at all, i tried clicking the "select network operator" but it couldn't search any. anybody have an idea regarding this problem? I am presently working here in Saudi Arabia and just bought my SGS last month..

    Thanks

Did you reset with the sim in or out. Try resetting with the sim out, then put it in.

Else, contact your sim provider and ask for the settings.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

Check your APN settings. You can find them on the internet or speak to your provider.

Your problem is different, you have a simcard problem and he has a signal problem.

Can you make voice calls? If you can't make voice calls then you have a problem with your simcard or the simcard slot.

Where did you get the phone from? If you bought secon hand the phone could be shutdown?
