    Upgrading to 2.2 Froyo

    I have a SGS eclair 2.1 and i want to upgrade it to 2.2 froyo. Can somebody teach me how to do it? thanks.

    Ive just plugged my phone into kies and it said i had firware to upgrade. Followed all the instructions correctly. It completed ok, and said "firmware has successfully installed" etc. Now though the phone wont go past the boot screen. It just continuosly cycles through the flashing "Galaxy S" animation on start up. What has happend and what can i do!?

    P.S i tried starting a new thread for this but was unable to!

    I can't update my SGS using Kies maybe because of my location here in Saudi Arabia., that is why i'm looking for a way to upgrade it safely using ODIN or something.. just bought my phone last month :/
