How do I type a Text on my pc and send it via my phone?

Does anyone know if there is a programme - preferably free - that allows me to type a Text on my PC and send it from my phone - when they are plugged together.

I could do this when I had my Nokia using their "PC Suite" & "Ovi" programmes which was very useful as I spend a lot of time on the PC + am a pretty quick touch typist and pretty crap on the phone keyboard even with Swype.

A Messaging option allowing this on Kies would be the obvious answer.

    thanks
    Ian

You can also do this using KIES AIR. the app is avaialable from samsung apps on your phone. You instal it then using wifi connection you input a URL address (in numbers format) then it connects to your home network and you can access messaging, photos songs everything on your phone. It seems quite good, so far.

I've purchase RemoteSMSPro and have been using it from time to time since this threat was answered.
However I recently "upgraded" to BT Infinity and also had to reinstall Windows 7 on my PC I now find that my PC will not connect to the server and Times' Out everytime I try to connect.
Has anyone got any ideas as to what can be going wrong.
    thanks
    Ian

    Well here's a bit of a conundrum.

After getting my SIII, I've tried to find REMOTESMS PRO in the playstore but can't find it. I've tried the website, but the domain is for sale, the emails are undelivered. It seems that CT-Designs have disappeared.

Does anyone know whats happened and can I copy the app from my s1 to my s3? - if so how?

    thanks
    Ian

EDIT: forget most of what I just wrote I've managed to download it via the pc version of google play - had to buy it again tho :-(
