My previous phone was a (rather ancient!) Samsung G600, which used PC Studio. I have my contacts backed up on my PC in PC Studio, although I think I am running an old version (I don't like to update as when I did so before, it deleted all my stored information!)
I believe Kies is used instead of PC Studio now, although I have not downloaded it yet. Am I able to import my contacts from PC Studio into Kies?
I will recommend that you move all of your contacts to your Google account, not Kies, your phone or sim.
You can then access your contacts from your phone or any PC when logged into Google Mail and your contact details are safe should anything happen to your phone or the data stored on it.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)
