    WELL AT LAST its finally here i am in uk using unbranded simfree galaxy and kies has the new gingerbread .....go guys go lol

    Started upgrading and suddenly realised I'd read you have to unroot first ( which I hadn't) tried to cancel but it just kept updating anyway, seems to run ok so hopefully no harm done

    Don't know how/if this relates to Froyo with a lag fix but Quadrant on Gingerbread is now only giving 949, previously it was 1200+ ? Seems quick though

    I have it too , but normal kies problem ...wont update although says can....then get "download stopped unexpectantly"

    Yes, the lagfix improves the Quadrant score quite a bit. The consensus seems to be that Quadrant scores are meaningless anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it.
