IPhone to Galaxy s2

Hi All

I have just upgraded from an IPhone 3 to the Samsung Galaxy S 2. Delighted with the new phone. Can anyone help me as I want to take all my contacts on my Iphone and upload them onto my Samsung Galaxy S 2. Can someone explain to me how to do it.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

You are in the old-fashioned section here so I'm not going to give you specific advice, as I still have the original SGS.

But I would advise you to put your contacts on your Google account, rather than directly on your phone or sim. You can create/copy your contacts using your PC when logged into your account and they will appear on your phone as if by magic.

I'd agree that you should use a search engine to find 'import iPhone contacts to google contact' Then as long as you link your galaxy S2 with your google account, they will appear, and you will never lose them again either. Alo means there is not real reason to install Kies - which is awful

Many thanks mate have done what you said and it worked perfect. I actually bought the phone in Phones 4 U and they told me I would have to put each one in manually so alot they know.
