I'm on this rom now, however the internet seems to be a bit buggy. Either too sensitive or laggy when scrolling.

Is this just for me?

I read on another thread that all the Gingerbread based ROMs don't have call recording because a stock version has not been released yet in the far east but yet another thread lists this ROM as having it. The first thread seemed to suggest attempts with Gingerbread based ROM only ended up recording one side of the conversation. Can someone confirm if this ROM records both sides and if it's easy to turn it on and off at the start of a call?

I find this feature very useful on occasion for taking notes. It's on Darky's 9.5 - but that's a Froyo based ROM.

I don't think this ROM does call recording at all. Maybe it would if a theme was installed that included a different phone.apk, but the base JVH itself doesn't do it afaik.
