Hi, after I deleted PCWDevice I''m getting an error. "The android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

If you reflash the Kernal, it'll probably come back. When i reflashed, the stuff i uninstalled came back.

A sort of connected query - I've just rooted my S2 and when I turn it on I get a yellow warning triangle on the start-up screen. Does that just mean it's rooted?

I'm not sure if there is a proper way of checking if you're rooted, but i just go into Titanium Backup and if it lets me access then i know it's done. But ironically the yellow triangle is a good sign if it's whether your device is rooted or not you want to find out.

To get rid of the yellow triangle, reflash the stock kernal which you have just flashed. The stock kernel can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1075278

    Cool

brilliant post Briggsy - note it is in s2 forum, also safe for s1? I use Titanium also, great app, and wondered if you UNINSTALLED or just FROZE - would it be too much of a pain to put 'U' or 'F' after each app listing???!!! MEanwhile on Darky 10.1 after Ficeto deodexed JVH am getting great battery, 2 days, and great speed so may not need to do much more tweaking (but rolled back to JVK modem)

Sorry to sound thick but how do I know which stock kernal to use?

Ignore the above question. I worked it in the end - I hope!

Many thanks Zakir.Umar, the triangle is now gone.

All worked for me so far except: LogsProvider

This kept causing "com.android.phone" and "android.process.acore" stopped working errors after trying to make a call or use contacts. I figured this process was creating the call log list so I installed it again. Now it works without a problem.

Had the same error, but after reboot it was gone (with PCWDevice still uninstalled)

    Hi,
I unfortunately managed to uninstall BaadgeProvider with the help of Titanium. It can't be uninstalled via Titanium, and neither can I install it via some AppInstaller after I have found the BadgeProvider.apk on the net. What does it do, what can't I do without it and how do I get it back again?

By the way, thanks for the list, where I missed BadgeProvider!
