    why does everyone hate touchwiz? can someone tell me whats bad about it? i mean didnt touchwiz 3.0 JUST come out? has anyone even used it yet? were touchwiz 1 and 2 that bad or something?

    Looking at the videos on you tube I dont hate it,but would still like to remove it.I just am not a big fan of the way it looks and prefere the look of launcher pro which is much faster.While I am a big fan of samsung phones (I loved the omnia hd) i just dont belief their software is as efficient as some.

    Install ADW from the maket instead. Then the homescreen will rotate when you rotate the phone to landscape orientation! And you can choose the bottom hard icons. And it works fast!

    TouchWiz is a UI (user interface) created by Samsung. It changes the way Android (or whichever operating system it is layered on) looks and feels. The icons in the Galaxy S are "iPhoneish" because of TouchWiz. It's kind of like a theme that Samsung layers on top of Android.

    TouchWiz can also refer to a phone, the Samsung SGH-F480 which is often called TouchWiz. It was released in 2008 and I believe it was the first phone to have the TouchWiz user interface. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
