Unhappy GPS issues in the Galaxy S II Samsung hasn't learnt????

Ok yesterday my GPS was running great, but today however it gets the sats but its not locking onto them? What the hell....Just like the old Galaxy S issue, is it still there? My SGS got a faster lock using GPS Aids..
    Proof in the below video:

How is your GPS? Is it just me I will reboot my phone and try again. Looks like my review might need to be updated... I think there is some dop and vdop calculation issues here looking at GPS Status

Have you tried toggling the "Use Sensor Aiding" setting in "Location and security"?

EDIT: Hmm actually that setting is a bit non-specific, I thought it was a setting to turn on A-GPS but it seems that the "Use wireless networks" setting covers that

Absolutely fine here, been using it for a few days at least 7 times a day without issue (I drive around a lot)

Just done a GPS Test indoors, locked in 5 seconds, accuracy within 105 feet within 10 seconds (and thats indoors) - NEVER got that with the old SGS, or anywhere near for that matter.

Update 2 (20 secs later): 45 feet within 30 seconds indoors, verging on as good as my i8910 O_o

Ok, I think i jumped the gun with this. I was indoors...Lock did take a long time. However i just went shopping and used the GPS status app. Moving the GPS is more accurate it seems Got down to 4m error margin or accuracy. It sat at around 9-10 satellites with the accuracy ranging from 4 to 8m. It was pretty darn good

    Here is the proof:

I guess my GPS like the SGS panic is over...

Awesome! Have faith in Samsung and they shall deliver..

I still wish I could have the Omnia 7's solid premium build with i8910's reliable hardware and Galaxy S2's specs :-)

And is this miraculous improvement down to the bread of ginger or different hardware?

    EDIT: or both?
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

GPS is fine. Its normal. GPS on SGS was abnormal.

Don't know what it is but there seems to be a paranoia @ xda regarding GPS with SGS II. Its a totally different phone, different design. Mine works fine. Used it yesterday morning till noon. Perfect 4m accuracy.
