    phone speed

Hi all.i have just rooted my phone with one click superuser.i then installed ryan za's oclf and installed lookout mobile security app.are there any other apps or easy things i can do to further improve what is now becomeing a very fast working phone.any good combination of apps or something as easy as rooting.thanks all.
I was using a task killer aswell but there is an option in oclf that behaves the same way as a task killer(so it says).would there be any benefit to using a task killer aswell.

Only if you kill apps that you've completely finished using. Keeping them suspended in the background makes your phone faster when you want to switch back to that app as the phone doesn't have to reload it.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

yeh.but if you kill all apps just as you finish with them so no other apps are running then if you open a new app,it should just boot up straight away anyway.with my original post.am i ok just using oclf and my mobile security or are there better combos of apps to make my phone better.im getting a benchmark score of 1658 and i see others getting over 2000

I wouldn't rely on benchmark scores. If you think your phone is faster enough then be happy with it.

If you really want to increase the speed of your phone I would overclock it.

Some people are slowing down their phones to increase battery life.

Continuing an app that is suspended is faster than loading it.

Which particular part of your phone do you feel is too slow?

none of it really.i was just wondering if there was a generic set of apps that were recognised as being the apps to use for the best performance for the galaxy s or is it just hit and miss as to what apps work best
