    Cheers for the info Goots very interesting reading there mate.
    Gone ahead and installed the DROIDDREAMKILLER APP from market pretty good how it checks first if ya phone has been comprimised before creating the needed blank folder.

    all the apps on the market collect information about your phone which seams daft to me... if you do get a virus or spyware malware from the market its googles fault any way but i think its just scaring people to shed more money out on software to protect your phone

    cheers for that, installed , looks like im clean. was bit worried, download a barcode scanner off the market.lol. i used it to scan the barcode for the link lol... the irony

    Hmmm what type of app uninstaller was the virus one -i have an app uninstaller but i don't think it has done anything to my phone?
    What should i do how do i know if it is a bad app

    you seem to know what your talking about,has anyone ever tried the words friend app its like a kind of phone to phone scrabble,well installed it worked fine initially then didnt,but most concerning of all my phone almost went on fire it was that hot when using the app you heard of this problem before with any other apps.p.s my girls i phone uses it with no problems

    I use Words With Friends and have had a few problems with it. It's a very new app though and I'm sure they're just ironing out the bugs. I find uninstalling it and reinstalling it when it has problems sorts them out.

    With a lot of heavy use (wifi, screen at full brightness, music playing) mine gets very hot. Batteryminder app tells me it's just over 50 degrees sometimes, but it's never caused a problem getting that hot.

    Yeah "Words with Friends" isn't a Virus threat, but it is an extremely buggy app. I'm suprised Zynga even released it, given their excellent track record of Facebook games.

    Apparently it was great, but the latest patch/version has screwed it up royally. Pity really because it is one of the better Scrabble rip-offs available.

    thanks for the info on words friends,it is a good app as you say with some issues,any of you found issue with the galaxy s redirecting you to the wrong apps or areas i.e phone now running slow as hell with plenty of lag but on top of this sometimes when i am trying to go to contacts it directs me to sms messages or when i hit home it directs me to contacts ,i know it sounds like a little adventure or a lucky bag but its gettin annoying called samsung and was informed gingerbread update will cure!!! wont hold my breath any way cant hold my breath cause they dont even have a definitive date when it will be uk released " may suffocate by then" whenever then is
