    Voice input button in Swype??

Why is there no voice input button in Swype on SGS?
I believe the keyboard supports it, and I obviously have Voice Search installed, but it's not present on my SGS.

Is there a Swype update I can download to add it?
    Or something else?

    Would make life even easier.

    Thanks.

    Have been looking into this.

First I found the full range of voice commands is not available until you select English(US) in the voice recognition settings. Eg "Send text to" - used this today when superior iphone texting was being discussed by colleagues... "doesn't the iphone do that?" someone asked.

The SGS swype keyboard does not have a voice command key. Their website shows the SGS without it. Options are-

    1. It's coming soon, according to many websites, so is Christmas.
    2. Download and install a hacked or unofficial version. People report the swype function being disabled when they tried this.
    3. Long press the text input area, select standard keyboard and use the voice key on that. Return to swype keyboard when done.
    4. Get a different phone.
    5. Ignore point four.

Or... long press menu key, press microphone for voice action, say "send text to" <contact name> <text>, keep adding text until message is complete, press send.
