    looking for good proxy program

im going to be traveling Asia in a few months, Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. You may think im being paranoid, but after all the news about egept, and earlier in the year with china, the internet being heavily censored, i want to be sure i am able to access all of the websites, email, ect i go to. does anyone know of a proxy i would be able to use in other countries to ensure i will always be able to visit my networks? i know of a few proxy websites, but my school is able to block them, so im sure the chinese government would be able to aswell.. does anyone know of a proxy program, or addon to firefox, googlechome, ect that will ensure my browsing?

You may want to search the market for TOR (The Onion Ring). It's slow but works. I'm not sure if there is anything for Android but may be worth a shot

Edit: There is a TOR client called Orbot - that should sort you out.

I'd be cautious about attempting to break Chinese censorship, whilst in china! Because you might well be irritating a less than tolerant government.

HotSpot Shield was another good thing i found, ontop of TOR, i think TOR is pretty amazing, hotspot shield is a program tho, so i can use google chrome, anyway glad to have both. will try them out at school tomorrow as a mini test to see if they can block what i would conciser low level security compared to a countrys filter
