Don't the American versions have a slightly different name.

Not sure about some Asian Countries, but for most of the rest of the world there is just the one version. Seems only North America likes to be different

    SGS EyeEye I9100 = UK/International

Samsung Epic 4G Touch = Sprint

    AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777 = AT&T

    T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989 = T-Mobile

    AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727 = AT&T

Are the ones I could see on a quick look at xda-developers. This will be the best place to look at when it comes to modding your phone. Make sure you pick the correct one or things will go bad.

Hello, I'm a new user. I can't post new threads. That's the reason I signed up. Everytime I compose the post and submit I get sent to a blank page?????

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

By now, there's a good chance you've seen TV commercials for the Samsung Galaxy S like the one above, but unless you're a cell phone fanatic or follow tech news, the ad can be a little ambiguous. Is the Galaxy S one phone or a group of phones? Are all the carriers getting the same model and when will they be released?

Here's what you need to know. The Galaxy S was first introduced as a single model--the i9000, to be exact--at CTIA 2010 and later shipped to more than 100 wireless providers worldwide.

    Hi Guys

This is nothing to do with the thread but it seems to be the only way I can hopefully get some help.

I have just joined the Forum and have tried to send my first thread.

When I click on the tab to post the message it goes to a blank screen. I can tab back using my direction button and the message is still there but I just cannot post anything.

Can an administrator or someone help please.

    Regards

    Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased a Samsung Android phone after years of being with Blackberry and HTC. I am having trouble with Kies program.

The program installed correctly but is not detecting my phone, despite saying on my phone screen that it is connected.

I contacted Samsung support and they were no help at all, the only solution they had was to uninstall and reinstall the program, which did not work.

I want to update my android version and apparently can only be done through Kies, as well as backing up my music and other pictures/Videos and audio files.

Please help. before I end up throwing my computer and/or phone through the window.

Unless your form a country that has restricted google play store, the app should already be installed.

If you didn't have google play, or your phone has some how lost it, you won't be able to install it unless you have Root access. This goes for all system apps.
