Hello All,

I am new here. I recently bought a Galaxy S i9000 and it was locked and unlocked by the previous owner to a french network. A lot of features and applications I don't need are there and i would like to upgrade it in the process. Here are the details:

Firmware Version: 2.1 Update 1
Baseband Version: I9000XXJM2
Kernel Version: 2.6.29 root@SE-S603 #2
Build Number: Eclair, POJM2

I will need additional languages to it like French, English, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, Portugese.

Can someone please guide me step by step on how to reflash my phone and upgrade it with the latest firmware possible? Details are really appreciated, don't want to brick my phone...

P.S: I was the owner of a Samsung Omnia i900, new to the Android world now. So I am a NOOB!
