    Deleting browser history-help please

Hello, I wonder if someone can please help me. I am unable to delete history on the browser- I do all the basic things such as going into settings whilst in the browser>clear cache, clear history, clear all cookie data, clear form data, clear passwords etc. But when I reopen the browser, I can see all the pages visited earlier by hitting the back arrow or using the forward arrow on the options button. No matter how many times I do the steps detailed earlier, the web pages are still there. I have used apps like history eraser, aclean etc, still no luck. What am I doing wrong?

well back and forward arent saved in the history, if you want to get rid of those, you need to actually exit the browser, menu>exit . if you just press home, the browser will still be open where it last was. that should work, or you can X out all of the tabs, till the browser closes. but you could go a step farther if you want, and press back all the way till the home page, and then go to a new website, like google.com, so that your forward cache will be overwritten

Thanks. That worked- I did by going into options>windows> and then close the open window.
However I do not understand what you meant by menu>exit--Couldn't find the "exit" option.

Close the app in task manager. I don't think the stock internet browser has an exit option.

Or just download Dolphin HD from the Market, it's free. When you exit the app it asks if you would like to exit or exit and wipe cache! You'll like it.
