    The only thing that would look cooler imho, is removing the text from beneath the icons. Just my personal opinion

    Hey Guys i'm new to this phone having come from an iphone 4 i'm liking the galaxy so far but what do i need to install to get new themes etc?

    is rooting my phone the same as jailbreaking on the iphone?
    and can i change the icons down the bottom of the screen to what i want and put more there as well?
    thanks for your help and to make me enjoy this phone more'

    Umm where to start

    First read the stickys as they will give you a lot of needed info

    What phone do you have, The SGS or the SGS EyeEye (2), not sure it makes a big difference though.

    This is a good start: Download Go Launcher EX, This has some different themes for the launcher UI and dock Icons Also you could add some of your own icons if you wanted

    So Download Go Launcher EX, then we can go from there
