    Kies 2

Kies 2 is now out of beta. I have just installed it and it connected to my phone straight away. It's totally different from the old version.
    Get it from here:

    Kies Un-install software here: http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.co...nstallKies.zip

FYI it connects to phones running Darky's Rom v8.0 (You need to switch to Touchwiz Launcher for it to work)

I installed Kies 2 this morning, then in the Kies 2 program clicked the link on the left to the samsung app store then clicked support and on your pc scrolled down to requirements and found that the SGS is not listed in the phones supported. Nice one samsung...

The phone wasn't supported in Kies 1 so you couldn't get the app store then either, in fact since it's production. It's down to google licencing rather than Samsung.

I'm just surprised that since the SGS is one of Samsungs top models its not supported, but now know its down to google licencing.....cheers Tuftload.

I added a part of my music collection to the Kies 2 library, but when I restarted Kies, it took a few minutes to fully load so I have deleted the music library. I hate waiting!!

Some of the software is probably not worth the effort. I think the Samsung Market place is more directed towards Bada users.
