Corning Glass - The people who brought you Gorilla Glass

Not directly to do with Samsung but Corning are the people that brought you the Gorilla Glass, used across many high end devices.

With displays playing an even bigger role in our lives it's good to see so much technology being developed, watch the video by Cornng: A Day Made of Glass

Thank you Corning and keep up the good work.

    Lotus Glass?

Samsung and Corning are now on a joint venture to produce Lotus Glass. Samsung are at the forefront of the display market and Corning have been working magic with glass since the late 80s. Lotus Glass offers higher processing temperatures and improved stability.

Did you see the video A Day Made Of Glass by Corning on Post #11 of this thread? I really liked the video and what Corning are developing for the future. A couple of days ago Corning released another video which develops on the ideas based in their first video.

Really liked this video too, worth a watch. Corning - A Day Made Of Glass 2

Apple iPad mini 7 inch confirmed Apple in talk with SMD to deliver flexible AMOLEDs for future iPads

Now that Apple have rinsed every possible lawsuit out of Samsung it looks like they now want to do business with them. Apple are in talks with Samsung Mobile regarding their flexible OLED displays which Apple are looking to use in some up and coming devices, noticabley a 7inch tablet.

Watchout Samsung, make sure Apple don't start using the screens then claim they designed it.
