why Is it that my hd videos look a lot (A LOT) more crisp and better ballanced on my i8910 than on my SGS???? was it not supposed to be much better?? wtf

I also had the i8910 and it was quite ahead of it's time. Released mid 08 and can't really get that many phones nowadays with HD capabilities, 8mp camera, flash and amoled.

Remember that the SGS only has a 5mp camera. You should have realised it was a type of step down. the i8910 was also bulkier, on an OS that was not visually appealing. The processor was also just under half as good.

Really no need for wtf, not that surprising.

Try updating your phone if you haven't already.

The new 2.2.1 has better graphics - from what I can tell through watching Inception on it lol.

What is the source of these hd videos? are they ones you have taken on the camera. or is it movies you are trying to watch from another source?

In video playback terms I found the SGS far better for movies than the oHD. Inception - 720p is damn crisp and colourful, searching within video is far smoother and more responsive.

Well i'm not trying to say that ohd its better than sgs.. cuz otherwise I wouldn't have bought it.. the thing is I have updated to adroid 2.2 official update. The videos I was talking about are hd videoclips transformed from mkv to mp4. but with no modification to quality.. for example take a look at the black eyed peas - meet me half way.. all have that difference but this one most of you probably know how colorfull it is. you'l see that on the ohd the colors ar much more defined and clear while the grass and the leafes on the sgs look allmost like a green overcoloured mixed up mass.
if you don't have both phones you won't realize... but if you do you'll se the dissapointing difference..
