Problem sending text messages using handcent app

    Hi
I haven't had my galaxy for very long at all, only like two days. I downloaded the handcent messaging app for my phone straight away because I know people who use it and it looked really good. Its been working fine until now. I've tried sending several texts and they wont send. I get a red circle with a cross in it next to the message and up on the bar at the top of the screen that has the battery etc on it, there is t markhe message sign with an exclamation mark on it.

if anyone has experienced this problem or have any ideas what I can do to get it working again I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks

never used the app, but if you want to be able to send messages again, you could always uninstall that messaging app

Check the phones APN settings: menu>settings>wireless and networks>mobile networks>Access Point Names. Search for the correct settings on your providers website, you should also find instructions on how to enter the settings on there website to.
