Just had a look at the Galaxysense0.6 you mentioned. There's quite a lot that's not working on this rom, BT, Data, Camera, Radio, Voice recorder. It does say it's a test version and not for daily usage. You also need to be on Froyo to flash this rom.

Hi,
I want to upgrade My Samsung Galaxy S i9000 to latest firmware, when I connect it to Kies, it says that new firmware is available:
Current: PDA-JG3/PHONE:JF1/CSC:JG1 (TMU)
Available: PDA:JS5/PHONE:JPY/CSC:JS4 (TMU)
Please let me know what this new firmware means, is it Android 2.2.3 or later.
Kindly also suggest the latest and stable firmware for my phone with download links and let me know if you need more info, thanks.
JPY is 2.2.1.
If you want the latest, 2.3.5 JVS, head over and register at samfirmware.com. Download the files and odin. Use odin to flash the firmware to your phone.

I've been wrestiling with the TV-out quite a bit during the past weeks. At least this cable works. Some cables by Nokia and Apple seem to work too.
