*** how fast is that ***

Hi all....... i've been following this forum for the last few weeks now and finally took the plunge and rooted my new SGS and then installed one Click Lag Fix.

Running Quadrant before i was only scoring 800 - 900 max but now after the Root + Lagfix my first 2 Quadrant scores were 2200 & 2033.
What a big difference and the phone is alot more zippy.

Will i see a big jump in quality/speed on my SGS when T-Mobile finally bring out the 2.2 Froyo update or should i be happy with what i've got ? .... and i am really happy with it as i feel this is the best phone by far that i've have ever owned.

Any thoughts/info would be greatfully received.

Go for the update, you get so many bonuses, flash 10.1, JIT, better navigation, things like that, uninstall your lagfix before you upgrade though, you will lose root when upgrading.

When you upgrade to froyo, you can re-apply root access, from what i hear, "z4root" from the market works a treat on FroYo, and you can apply another lagfix to it also.
