Thread: mp3 downloads not showing up in the musicplayer.

    mp3 downloads not showing up in the musicplayer.

    Hello. ... Pls help....i download music from beemp3 and dilandau...the problem is that the music never shows up in the music palyer but is present in file manager....i tried changing the name of the song from mpga to mp3 also.... Still no use...

    Try moving the downloaded mp3s to PC/MAC and use MP3Tag to correctly label the ID3Tag (contains all the mp3 information like title, artist, genre etc).

    try rebooting your phone.for some reason its the only way it will work for me.

    same is happening to me, not all songs though, not sure why

    Also, some of the songs will have brackets [] in the title, I noticed when I removed the brackets the song will then show up on the music player.

    As mentioned above, I can see & play the songs from the file manager but I would prefer to see & play the songs from the music player

    Check my thread out regarding media and tagging ID3 Tags.

    Does anyone know how to fix the .mp3 problem? My ringtones are now downloading as .htm instead of .mp3 and I can't figure out why. It was working just fine a couple weeks ago.
