    Cannot remove download icons

I've downloaded a few apps from Android, but once complete the download icons (5 of them - red arrow on top of a rectangle) have remained at the top right of the phone and I can't get rid of them, which can't be right. Can anyone help with this?

    Thanks

    Hi DINGO
Have you tried opening each download one at a time from the pull down tab,
once they have opened they should disappear

Guess the "clear" button in the notification tray will do that.

I had the same problem with my Galaxy S, I tried all suggestions I found on the net and finally called Samsung, where it was suggested that I do a re-set (they give you a pin number). However, I decided that this could wait until I had the time.

By accident I happened to stroke the bar, downwards, at the top of the phone, where the download icon/s are and menu option appeared (mine was in German so I can't tell you exactly what it said, but it's obvious)to delete the icons, I had 2, and that was it.

I hope this will be of some help to someone.

It's called the notification bar, it contains all your notices (calls, texts alerts etc).
