What I did was download the new version of kies with the froyo 2.2, installed the 2.2 and then got talking to Goots who recommended I change from XEU to JPO which i did via dialing the digits and selecting JPO.

I have not routed the phone or put any hacked software etc on it.

Its annoying not having the phone vibrate via text even though I have set vibrate to 'always'!

Can I preform a factory rest via the phone handset? If so how?

So far all I have done is take the battery out and wait a few mins to put it back in, but this has not cured it.
