Hi there, my son has locked me out of my phone by inputting the wrong shape in, and my problem is that when i put in my google credentials it just says "checking" and will not go any further.

I also cannot get into recovery mode

Is there a fix for this or am i goosed?

If Goots had a fix he'll have to send it to you in a private message (PM) as he did above, most likely as it's a security feature and he won't want to post it publicly.

I'm sorry Claudehoarau, there is a fix, but I got into a fair bit of trouble last time I told someone how to get round the screen lock security, and I'm not prepared to get that flak again.

Apologies but I'm sure you understand.

Edit: Besides, that was about 10 firmware releases ago, so the method probably wouldn't even work now. I'm sure the security flaw has been patched by google.
