    Hi

Hey, I'm a complete newb and would like some help, is there any way I can update my android Market as I'm not able to see new apps like my mate can, we're both running firmware 2.1 as it says in the 'about phone' section, he's on t-mobile and I'm on orange if that makes any difference also it seems hesitant some times when opening some things like phone and messages takes about 4-5 secs with a blank screen, maybe this will be sorted with the froyo update?

    Anyway hi from me

    Rich

    Hi Rich,

Looks like you need to apply a lag fix to sort that out. It seems more apparent with some phones, not sure why. The lagfix will cure your problem but might also invalidate your warranty.

HERE IS A LINK to a decent rooting/lagfix app - but check your warranty before applying it.
