    Got my phone unbricked by CPW

    Hi all
    Just got my phone back from Car Phone Warehouse today after bricking it last week, took 6 days and no questions asked, all done under warranty!! result!!

    I can't believe you'd do such a thing as bricking your phone, I hope CPW reported you to the RSPBP (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Bricking to Phones)

    Good stuff, imagine they just flashed it, but good you got it back in a week. People often don't bother with positive feedback for companies, try not to turn it into a paperweight again ;-)

    I think they had to JTAG it and then re flash, i had no 3 button access, so it was pretty terminal. CPW said for a basic flash it would be 24hrs if i took it to a service center, but it could be several days if it had to go to the main HQ...................no prizes for guessing where mine went!!
