Galaxy S STILL wont connect to KIES :(

Okay So I just downloaded the latest version of kies, 1.5.3.10093_82 and when I connect the USB cable, my phone still doesn't show up. Can anyone help please? This is extremely frustrating as I want to see if the official froyo update is available on my phone but I cant

if nothing works, n im not satisfied with froyo, i shall sell the phone -_-

I had to try like 8-9 times before Kies recognized my phone, but then I was able to update to Froyo with no problems

Ok this is getting ridiculous... Kies won't recognize my Galaxy S no matter what. I am getting the MTP USB device issue where windows 7 (32bit) are not able to install the driver. Maybe it is a problem because i have the lagfix installed maybe not. I am going to do a hard reset anyway and try again.

any way to contact samsung straight away?
