im using the new I9000XWJFF and i like it

i just installed the new I9000XWJFF firmware, and i really like it, i came from the custom firmware, but i think JFF is smoother. i havent redone the NAND mod yet, but i can say it feels like i am using it, things are alot faster. when i first flashed it, it gave me alot of trouble, swype was broken to the point it would crash going into anywhere i could enter text, so i had to reflash a second time, the second time i added CSC-I9000OXXJF9 to the CSC and that cleared everything up. so after an hour of use, i havent had any crashes or found any bugs, seems the fastest ROM yet.

EDIT: GPS lock in google maps seems faster to me, and the camera opens in about 1 second!
another edit: the wallpapers seem to be acting up for me, the phone shutting down randomly while the screen is turned off issue is still here

The files in JFF are 5 days older. But JFF contains a multi CSC file, which has all the APN settings for all countries like in the stock european rom (not just russian localization). You can actually use the CSC file from JFF with code and modem files from JG1. I will try that when I get home tonight...

Have you found the sms-swype problem like they describe for JG1? i.e. can you send sms written with swype?
    Thanks

Yes, swype works, but the problem people are mentioning is SMS, that you cannot send SMS that were written in swype, when you press next it erases your screen or something. Have you sent sms with swype with JG1?

JFF doesn't have this problem apparently, nor does the mix-and-match JG1 (with CSC from JFF). I'm a bit worried about the shut-downs that soraxd is reporting, I haven't seen shutdowns on my stock JF3... does your phone shut down too?
