    Phone calls to headphones

Hello, this morning I was listening to some music on my sgs. Suddenly music stopped because of an incoming call. Automatically I pressed the green button to answer and expected to hear the voice on headphones. Nope! Voice was going out from the standard orifice

Pressing the "Headphones" button didn't solved the problem.

    What's your experience?

Check if your headphone has been fully injected into the phone. It happens to me when I first got it and I was a bit too gentle to the new phone

Proposed solution doesn't work. I tried to heavily push the jack but it's at the end. I'm using a third party jack headphones, maybe it's in someway hardware-locked?
Anyway, when i press the headphone button, a window pops up asking to activate bluetooth o.O

That's my answer (and yours apparently ). Btw, is this forum somehow affiliated with samsunggalaxyforum (without the s)?

Yes, SGS doesn't support most of the 3rd party headset. I think someone mention that Nokia headset works on SGS but I cannot find the post.

I don't think this forum has anything do with the samsunggalaxyforum (without the s), but I found this forum is so much faster and members here are more frlendly and helpful compare to the other one

    A little recap so:
    - As a first try, push the jack until your finger begins blue/violet ( )
    - Only Samsung provided headphones work with Galaxy S. Someone reports that Nokia's headphones work too but there is no proof of that.
    - The headphone button, enabled when you start the call, is intended for bluetooth only.

Can you try it again, only this time answer the call using the inline switch on the headphone cable rather than the answer button on the phone itself ?

sorry for the delay. I don't have an inline switch, but good thought indeed. It would worth a try.

    hi guys
the OP's problem happens to me as well. and Im using a Sennheiser headphone. its not a headset i think and the difference between them is that the latter has a mic right?
anyway, I cant use my headphone for sound during call. what seems to be the problem? Thanks!
