Unable to clear gallery

Hi All.

Having installed Kiers, I selected and downloaded a single image to my phone.

The image was transfered, however soem 214 other images form the pc were also transfered in a number of files - to the gallery.

I have tried to select all - will not allow a delete option.

I have tried to highlight single images - it will not wok with this either.

I have as a last resort carried out a factory reset - to no avail.

very much looking forward to some insight on this please

just got the phone. put the one pic on- managed to delete it- but the other folders I am unable to delete.

This is what I do. Open gallery.select group you wish to delete, tap menu button, select delete then select the ones you wish to delete from the group the hit delete again. If you wish to delete the whole group, after tapping the menu button select the select all button at the top left then tap delete. this allways works for me

The problem I have is that the delete option is there initialy, once I select all, the delete option dissapears from the menu options - all I am left with is share or details

I think you might have set the phone to auto sync with picasa or something.

As soon as you try and delete the image, it's resyncing.

From the home screen, go Menubutton > Settings > Accounts & Sync then select your google account.

I only sync Contacts, Mail & Calendar. Have a look and see if yours is syncing to Picasa Web Albums too, if so, deselect it.

It will not even allow me to delete the images in the other folders, the only image I was able to delete was the one I had elected to transfer from the pc.
I have looked at the sync option that you have suggested but this is not the issue either.

ok just go to file and try moving them and then try deleting them
well r the pics in ur memory card or internal storage
