Spoke to the samsung support number in the UK this morning (23rd) just to see if they knew and the guy, with a heavy 'dutch-ish' accent so i am not sure he was uk based, said October. When pressed it 'may' be the early part of october.

update: tried again just incase and all the new guy could tell me was Samsung have no fixed date just 'sometime from near the end of september to december'....

This is now starting to get a tad annoying. Can't have my mate on an HTC Desire calling me up and saying he is on his second OTA 2.2 revision....come on Samsung!
