    So are these operator 'product codes'? As some look very much like them, for example; H3G being Hutchison 3rd Generation and Vod being Vodafone, and obviously, CPW being Carphone Warhouse. If so, what would XEU be? Also, is this JM3 a beta firmware as I've heard the rumoured date is going to be the 23rd for the official Froyo release? Taking that date with a pinch of salt.

    XEU = Generic

    I went from JF3 to JM1 to JPH (Latest Froyo beta) via kies.

    My phone was an unlocked T-Mobile (TMU)

    The only product Code I had on JF3 was TMU, Manage to upgrade to JM1 using registry hack found xda-dev, which allowed me to change Product code to XEU on the phone. Then took the plunge last night and updated with kies to JPH so far so good.

    Well, changing to XEU didn't help me so I went back to CPW. I'm definitely going to hold out until I get the Froyo update. I'm extremely tempted to return my phone and see if I can get one with a working recovery mode.
