Install applications on external memory

Hi mates. I am pretty new around here when speaking of android, and I got Galaxy S few days ago. I found the way to root it, flash it, apply lag fix, customize ringtones with new ones I am used to...but I just cant find the way to install applications on external memory. If I remember correctly from what I read somewhere Android froyo should bring this feature or i am wrong? I am running XXJPH at the moment.
Does sd card fix has anything to do with this.

From settings -> application -> manage application -> third-party
choose any app if it support external card
you can move to SD card

Yebbut how do you move it? and how do you know it supports external?

As when you click on one of the apps in the menu posted above, you'll see the 'Move to phone' icon lit if it can be done. Also only works on Android 2.2 as standard

'App 2 SD' on the Market works great for me.

Seems that the Galaxy has two chances of sd card.
A 2Gb one, comes standard with the phone, and another is to install as true external, which can be changed. I have it 8Gb.
when tightening "move to SD" I think it does is move the application from the phone's internal memory to the SD (I have it almost full).
I do not know how to make the move to real external SD.
You know how to do?
