Lag Fix Problem

I have installed the lag fix app and clicked on it to root. Then I have turned off the phone and rebooted in the recovery mode. Once in there i have selected the update zip and clicked the home button. The loading bar comes up at the bottom but after a couple of seconds it goes off and the phone loads up normally without rooting. I have checked back on the lag fix app and the options are still unavailable. Any suggestions??

I have experienced the same problem, because of my firmware(it was a provider-firmware from 3Hutchinson-Austria).

After flashing to JM7 applying the Lag Fix(and rooting) worked like a charm.

If this is the case how do I go about flashing??

Thanks. Only trouble now is my phone does not connect to the computer. In Kies it just comes up trying to connect.
